What disciplines can I train with Trainingforever?

Currently, Trainingforever covers the following disciplines:

  • 🤸‍♀️ Mobility explained through videos

But we don’t stop there! We’re constantly adding new features and disciplines, so stay tuned for more updates.

Do I have to pay to use Trainingforever?

No, if you are an athlete the app is 100% free. Trainingforever is designed for coaches to share their training sessions with their athletes, so they are the ones who pay to use our app.

Can I download Trainingforever and start training with it?

Trainingforever is designed for coaches to share their training sessions with athletes. At Trainingforever, we believe in workouts tailored to each individual and don’t provide generic sessions. Therefore, if you install Trainingforever, you won’t be able to train with it directly; you’ll need a coach to supervise you and share their workouts with you through the app.

Can I download Trainingforever from the Apple App Store?

No, Trainingforever isn’t available on the Apple App Store, but you can install it on your Apple device by following these steps:

  • Swipe up the menu at the bottom of the screen and select “Add to Home Screen” (to see this option, you need to swipe up the share menu until you see the icons of WhatsApp, Airdrop, etc., at the top)

Can I download Trainingforever from Google Play?

No, Trainingforever isn’t available on Google Play, but you can install it on your Android device by accessing app.trainingforever.com and tapping on the Download button:

How do I use Trainingforever if I am an athlete?
What are the first steps when opening Trainingforever?

These are the first steps:

  1. Your coach will have sent you an invitation via email which you’ll need to accept.
  2. The first step is to create a password (if you forget it, don’t worry, you can always change it later).
  3. Next, you’ll need to fill out a form where you’ll indicate your age, maximum and resting heart rate, available equipment, goals, etc. It’s essential to complete this step! It will help your coach better prepare your workouts and calculate your training zones accurately. In this step, you’ll also choose the desired plan.
  4. The data you enter in the initial form can be updated later from the application, so don’t worry if you make a mistake or need to change something; you can do it anytime.
  5. You’ve done the most important part. Next, you’ll need to inform your coach of your goals. To do this, go to the “Calendar” menu and click on the + sign to enter all your goals, including date, race name, distance, elevation gain, and how important it is to you.
  6. If you’re a woman, you can inform your coach if you want to track your menstrual cycle. This will help tailor the workouts to make you feel more comfortable during training.
Why do I have to fill in the initial form?

Filling out the initial form the first time you register on Trainingforever is crucial, and here’s why:

  • Your coach needs to get to know you and understand some parameters to tailor your training to your level and needs.
  • For Trainingforever to calculate your training zones (heart rate zones, paces, power…), we need to know your maximum and resting heart rates. Without this information, your training won’t be personalized or suitable for you.
  • It’s important to know your fitness level; preparing a workout for someone who has been training for 10 years will be different from someone who’s just starting out, right?
  • Knowing the equipment you have for strength training will also help your coach determine which exercises you can perform.
  • Plan: You’ll need to inform your coach of the type of plan and rate you want to choose.

As you can see, filling out the form is essential. Without it, it will be challenging to fully enjoy Trainingforever, and your workouts won’t be tailored to you.
